JRP were appointed by the landowner to deliver architectural and planning services. This is an exciting development of up to 500 dwellings, 3,224sq.m of B1a employment use, 9,192sq.m of B1c employment use, 333sq.m of A1 commercial use and 1,110 sqm community building including structural planting, landscaping, informal open space and associated ancillary works.
We continue to work closely with the developer to deliver this project through its many stages.
Working with the Local Authority we have evolved the outline masterplan for the whole site and developed detailed designs for Phase 1a and 1b setting the scene for a high-quality development which takes advantage of the potential this Canalside project has to offer. Phase 1a is due to commence construction in March 2021. JRP designed each house type and produced a full set of planning and working drawings for each which will be of timber construction. Phases 2, 3 and 4 are still progressing through the planning system.
We also look forward to overseeing the construction stage, making site visits, and working with on-site contractors to ensure a high-quality build.
