Bolton Woods, Bradford

JRP were appointed by Incommunities to provide architectural and planning services for the re-development of vacant land at Bolton Woods, Bradford. The development which has recently completed has transformed a challenging sloping site which previously housed six hard-to-let blocks of flats. The site has been developed in two Phases, Phase 1 comprising of  24 homes for rent which were completed in 2019 and Phase 2 comprising of 40 dwellings for affordable rent and through the Rent to Buy scheme.  Both phases of the development have been supported through Homes England’s Affordable Homes Programme.

JRP have worked on the site from initial feasibility sketches addressing the challenging topography through to pre-application discussions with the Council and preparing and submitting planning applications for both phases, including the discharge of planning conditions. We provided full working drawings for the timber framed dwellings, along with on-site services throughout the construction period.
