Some of our recent Commercial Projects: |

Hull Royal Infirmary, Hull
We were approached by the Hull & East Yorkshire NHS Trust to prepare a vision for the future redevelopment of the Hull Royal Infirmary.
The concept focuses the points of arrival to the main block. Visitors from the town centre along Anlaby Road, are lead into the site, buffered from traffic within a green walk way. This walk way sweeps towards a sunken precinct and earth sheltered café and outdoor seating area at the heart of the arrival plaza.
The concept creates a three storey atrium as the new entrance to Hull Royal Infirmary. A tall glazed entrance welcomes patients and staff into a modern public space .Clarity and legibility are key elements of the visitor experience. The reception point is prominent and welcoming, with a visual link through to the Hospital Street and wards beyond . With in the atrium, the stair well and lifts are also clearly visible arriving at galleried landings for the first two floors.

Proposed Office Development, Leeds
Our proposal is to separate the old from the new giving some space to the existing Listed building. Block 1 and 2 wrap around the north and eastern boundaries connected by the main circulation core. The exact location of the core will determine the office sizes. The existing building is retained, the options available can only be determined once a survey has been carried out however we would look to strip out the building to provide usual office space. Walls and railings to the boundaries will ensure that the development is secure. |

Former Hangmanstone Depot, Birdwell
The site is situated on land on Sheffield Road which is a main arterial route into Barnsley from Sheffield and junction 36 of the M1. The site is brownfield in its entirety. The mixed use development provides six units for uses falling within A1, A2, A3 and A5 of the Use Classes Order 1987. The total floorspace proposed by the application is 1,285m2 (13,832 square feet). The industrial style helps the development sit well in its surroundings |

Woodford Group Offices, West Yorkshire
The development was designed to provide our client with new bespoke offices, some 15,000sqft of office space. The design made the most of the natural light and views around the site. Once over the reflective pool you enter the main lobby which contains a void up through the building, an atrium at the top floods the circulation space with natural light. General offices spaces are open plan and organised to meet the client’s requirement, department meeting rooms located to make the most of the views over the valley. The chief executive’s office is located on the top floor with a luxury meeting room. A huge picture window has fantastic views across the country side. |
